I saw a sneak preview today of the movie Super Troopers. It opens in a theatre near you on February 15. I actually only saw the first 45 minutes of the film because I had a class at 5:00pm. The film was ok, some parts funnier than others, but I think it was geting better just when I had to leave. It was cool how the whole event worked - the actual real live actors and the actor/director (the main actors wrote the movie themselves, and together they form a comedy group called "Broken Lizard") all came up to Cornell, with the film, on a bus painted up for the movie. After the movie was over they were going to have a Q&A session, but I wasn't there for it. They gave out some freebies, such as a poster, a Super Trooper head for your automobile antenna, and a sticker. They ran out of handcuffs before I got the the theatre. My take on the movie - don't spend $8 to see it in the theatre - wait 'till it comes out on video. My favorite scene, from the first 45 minutes, was the "meow" scene. Here is the trailer.
